Notre Dame’s Cross Country team runs from September to November. The members this year have shown that they are able to put forth their best efforts in hopes of making their mark during this year’s events.

Led by Ms. Karner and Mrs. Pullar, this forty-one person group attended an invitational meet at Burgoyne Woods in St. Catharines, where twenty members came out on top and advanced to SOSSA, which was held at the Christie Conservation Area in Dundas, Ontario. Highlighting this event was Braydon Seneca, who placed 9th overall, and Kevin Millejours, who placed fourth for the Midget boys and advanced to OFSAA on November 1st in Sarnia.

During the OFSAA meet, Kevin tripped over another runner who had fallen at the beginning of the race. Despite this setback, he was still able to place 67th out of a total of 230 runners from around Ontario; an impressive finish.

OFSAA marked the end of the provincial season. The coaches and team look forward to an exciting season next year.
