The N.D. Catholic School Council

Parents and Guardians have the right, as well as the responsibility, to participate in the education of their children, and can contribute to their children’s development in a wide variety of ways. - The Ministry of Education and Training

The Catholic School Council of Notre Dame is a committed group of students, parents, teachers, support staff, and church and community representatives created to promote the best interests of the school community in support of Catholic education as well as act as an advocate for the valued partnership of school, church and home. In support of this purpose the Council is committed to:
• improving the educational well-being of all our students
• being open-minded and approachable and thereby establishing a link between the school community and the Catholic School council
• being informed and aware of current issues concerning and pertaining to the school community
• liaising with elected school board members to dialogue about issues and concerns

The Notre Dame Catholic School Council will strive to be open about the future of Catholic education as well as appreciative of the past.
